NOVEMBER 21ST 2007 - SHREWSBURY

The launch was heavily over subscribed so only the lucky few attended but those that did attend certainly made sure they had a great networking experience.  It was a packed room, a lively group of very diverse businesses both in industry, status and length of trading.  The evening was all about explaining the who, the how and the why of Network with Style which took the form of three presentations.  The group was not just about Shrewsbury Business Women but ladies came from across the region.  Below are just a few snap shots of the evening unfolding....

TELFORD GROUP LAUNCHED JANUARY 2008

January 2008 saw the launch of the Telford group in the amazing Whitehouse Hotel Conference Suite.  It was a wretched night yet we were greeted by a lovely group of interested and dedicated ladies, from a wide area geographically as well as a wide business focus.  Very different to Shrewsbury in many ways and another exciting challenge for the ladies who run NWS.  Once again we presented the who, why and how but with the use of a Power Point presentation this time.

Meeting content and attendance overview

Meetings are a mix of learning and networking, we have already covered many subject in various ways and at various levels, employment, marketing, innovation and creativity, confidence building, market research, fire safety, insurance, e mail etiquette, and much, much more.

Wide range of businesses attend the meetings and we actively encourage interaction from larger companies so that the ladies can build relationships with banks, law firms and many more in a less formal environment.  We have regular attendances by Business Link, Barclays, HSBC, Lanyon Bowdler and many more.  We get help and sponsorship which allows the group to flourish and this again comes from many local companies such as Shires Fire & Safety, Belle Vue Sign and Print, Clear Design, ABC HR, Rosie Consulting, Special Additions, Seek It Out and many others.
