Affordable business networking for women in Shropshire.

November 2007 will see the first gathering of a brand new and exciting business networking group for Shropshire.  The group will meet both in Shrewsbury and Telford. NWS is a not for profit group run by three unpaid volunteer Shropshire business women.

The group aims to help women who are either established in business or just starting out to meet and network with other women in the same situation. The group will have an emphasis on self employed but decision making employed business women are welcome too. Together we can all raise awareness of our businesses, share our experiences, expertise, build business relationships, and grow our confidence.

Our mission is to help business networking, learning, and access to information as well as integrating with the wider business and networking community.

Details of the launch and subsequent meetings can be found within the pages of this website.  We are affiliating to the national networking organisation WiRE (Women in Rural Enterprise) but are not run or funded by them. 

Each meeting (after launch) will be of mixed content and contain networking, learning, and interactive components.  We want to create meetings which are not centric to one aspect of business or only of interest to one section of the business world.  We appreciate that business women live busy lives and will not make every meeting so we have devised a way that they can have continuity even if they cannot be at a meeting each month.  We also want to help women to build a useful knowledge and contact base by ensuring they take away a great deal from every meeting they attend.
